PERSON RESCUED FROM THE SEA Elements of the Mexican Navy (@SEMAR_mx) carried out the rescue of a person who was drowning at Malecón Beach in San Felipe, Baja California. This time, the "Holy Week Rescue Operation 2026" worked.

What is their health status? Once on solid ground, the rescued person received medical attention from naval health personnel and local rescue brigades that were at the scene. Subsequently, they were taken to the San Felipe Health Center, where they were reported to be stable, indicating that their life is not in danger after this scare on the beach.

Holy Week Rescue Operation 2026 This operation involves a surveillance and attention device that is carried out in the country's beaches and tourist destinations from March 27 to April 12. This device includes activities of supervision, aquatic rescue, patrols, and medical attention, with the objective of safeguarding human life in the sea during the vacation season, when there is a large influx of tourists and greater risks from waves and currents. During this operation, the Navy has reported multiple successful interventions in different coasts of the country, where naval elements have assisted bathers at risk of drowning, both on the Pacific and Gulf of Mexico beaches, which reflects the magnitude of the deployment made to protect visitors and locals.
